Privacy Policy

Wedbo (“Wedbo,” “we,” “us”) helps engaged couples plan their wedding — tasks, budget, vendors, the guest list, and an AI assistant. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image to create and secure your account. We do not receive your Google password.
- Wedding details you provide. Information you enter to plan your wedding — dates, venues, budget, tasks, vendors, documents you upload, and the messages you exchange with the assistant.
- Guest information. Details you add about your guests (names, contact details, household groupings, RSVP status, meal and dietary preferences, and mailing addresses), including information guests submit themselves through an RSVP or address-collection link you share with them.
- Wedding Inbox email. If you use your Wedbo email address, messages sent to it (for example, from your vendors) are captured and shown to you in the app.
- Voice notes. If you send a voice note over a connected messaging channel, the audio is transcribed so the assistant can respond.
- Usage information. Basic technical data such as log and device information needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Wedbo service.
- To power the AI assistant that helps you plan (your wedding data is used to answer your questions and take actions you confirm).
- To send messages you've set up — for example, replies and reminders over the connected Telegram channel.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- The Wedbo team may access your account to provide support and improve the product.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Wedbo, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Hosting & database — our cloud infrastructure and database providers store your data securely.
- AI processing — the assistant and document analysis are powered by third-party AI providers that process the content needed to respond to your requests; voice notes are transcribed by a third-party speech-to-text provider.
- Sign-in & messaging — Google (authentication) and Telegram (if you connect it) as needed to provide those features.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Wedbo and its users.
Guest information
Couples control the guest information in their account. If you are a guest submitting an RSVP or address, that information is shared with the couple who invited you and is handled under this policy on their behalf. Questions about a specific wedding's guest list should go to the couple hosting it.
Your wedding page
If you publish a wedding page, the details you choose to include (schedule, venue, FAQs, photos) become visible to anyone with the link, unless you protect the page with a password. Wedding pages ask search engines not to index them. If you enable the page's question helper, questions guests ask are stored anonymously — without the guest's identity — and shown to you so you can improve your page.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls scoped to your wedding — to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and promptly address issues.
Your choices
You can access and update most information directly in the app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at the address below.
Children
Wedbo is intended for adults planning a wedding and is not directed to children. Guest records a couple maintains may reference minors (for example, a child attending); that information is provided and controlled by the couple.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
